Chelsea M. Rabbers is an artist from Stevensville, Michigan. She graduated with a Bachelor of arts degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College with her primary focus on painting and drawing. Her works allude to classic fairy tales and capture pivotal moments from those stories. The concept of her work is taking literary themes and applying them in a visual representation. She strives to portray in depth illustrations over cartoonist caricatures. Chelsea loves to create artwork that induces a nostalgic response. She uses bright colors to elicit happieness in the observer and take them back to their childhood when they were most carefree. Most of her pieces range in size from 12 by 12's to 16 by 20's. Since graduation Chelsea has returned to her hometown of Stevensville and continues to produce artwork locally.
